We yearn for it! So much, you cannot imagine. Summer in Denmark is (feels) short so we have to live it that much more. When nights are bright and mild and you simply don’t want to go home, life’s good!
That’s the time to take your new bike and explore Copenhagen. One of my favourite areas is the Amager Beach which also can be stunning in winter time but in the summer all Copenhagen flocks here for swimming, sun bathing, kayaking and kite surfing. Why wouldn’t they?
Just a couple of minutes north from the beach you find the sailing club Sundby Sejl which serves some well prepared Danish bistro fare in their very relaxed yard facing the marina. A great place to end the day with a bottle of rosé and a home made burger or fish fillet.
See you out there!
